Quick Commerce Executive

 

The Quick Commerce Executive will lead growth across the independent grocery channel, working with retailers, technology partners and internal commercial teams to improve online trading performance, retailer capability, availability, digital execution and profitability.

This high-impact role suits someone who combines commercial instinct, digital know-how and strong relationship skills, and who enjoys making things happen in a fast-moving retail environment.

 

This is a brilliant opportunity to shape the Quick Commerce agenda for BWG’s independent retailers and help build a scalable model for digital growth across some of Ireland’s best-known convenience brands.

You will have the autonomy to create new approaches, influence a broad retailer network and turn digital opportunities into practical, measurable sales growth and better shopper experiences.

Duties include:

  • Develop and deliver BWG’s Quick Commerce strategy for independent retailers.

  • Lead retailer onboarding, rollout and performance improvement plans.

  • Build trusted, commercially focused relationships with retailers and partners.

  • Grow online sales, distribution, basket value, conversion and profitability.

  • Improve shopper conversion through stronger content, imagery, categorisation, availability, pricing and promotions.

  • Use sales, shopper and Quick Commerce data to set KPIs, guide decisions and track progress.

  • Share best practice, create scalable tools and support wider digital and automation initiatives.

  • Work cross-functionally with Trading, Marketing, Retail Technology and external Quick Commerce partners to resolve issues and unlock growth.



The suitable candidate should:

  • Experience in FMCG retail, Quick Commerce, digital trading or online grocery.

  • Strong commercial judgement, with a good understanding of retail economics, margin and profitability.

  • Confidence to spot opportunities, challenge constructively and influence retailer decisions.

  • Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills, with the ability to turn insight into action.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, organisation and time-management skills.

  • A collaborative, energetic and customer-focused approach, with genuine passion for retail and continuous improvement.

  • Be Commercially curious

  • Be proative and comfortable working independently

  • Ability to translate ideas into stronger standards and better business performance
