We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role plays a key part in driving reliability, planning efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations. Please note this role is for our Afternoon Shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment.
  • Carry out timely repairs, installations, and commissioning activities.
  • Assess and prioritise breakdown and service requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for preventative maintenance and plant performance.
  • Provide expert technical input into capital projects.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

About You

  • Experience implementing or maintaining CMMS systems (e.g., FIIX, MEX, SAP PM, Pronto).
  • Hands‑on technical background in FMCG, food, or high-speed packaging manufacturing.
  • Strong coordination and planning capability across maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of automation, PLC systems, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Trade qualification or engineering background preferred; high‑risk licences (e.g. Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Restricted Electrical) highly regarded.
