Job DescriptionTrade Counter Salesperson Location: Mullinahone, Tipperary Our client, a well-established Hardware store are expanding their team and looking to hire a Retail Sales Assistant for their store on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent service and building supplies knowledge, working on their own initiative to drive sales and customer satisfaction. *Builders Merchant experience is essential* Responsibilities: Acknowledge and welcome every customer who enters the store Suggesting suitable items Carrying an open, friendly and positive attitude Keeping up to date about product knowledge Encourage and help members of the team Effectively operate tills according to the companies procedures Ensure all cash, cards and cheques are checked Accuracy on tills Process all sales efficiently. Maintain a clean and tidy store Ensure a neat and tidy stockroom and staff room Assist in sorting and putting away deliveries correctly Ensuring prices are accurate Maintain a healthy and safe working environment Carry out all duties in an enthusiastic and cheerful manner Requirements: A strong communicator with ability to establish rapport with customers and the team Show a genuine interest in customers and products with an enthusiasm for selling Good initiative Strong work ethic and motivation to achieve success Knowledge on building supplies / hardware experience TPBN1_IJ
