Position: Audio Transcriber - Clinical Conversation Data
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate machine-generated draft transcripts against audio segments of 30 to 45 seconds.
• Correct transcripts for accuracy, focusing on critical words that impact meaning.
• Apply transcription specifications precisely, including verbatim capture and speaker labels.
• Ensure word-level timing accuracy and tag vocal artifacts like laughter and crosstalk.
• Flag uncertain medical terms for review by clinical specialists.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native English listening comprehension.
• Comfort with detailed specifications and consistent formatting.
• A quiet working environment and over-ear headphones.

Preferred

• Prior experience in transcription, captioning, subtitling, or audio annotation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
