Job Description
On behalf of the Met Office, we are looking for a Python Software Developer (Inside IR35) for until 31/03/2027 contract based Hybrid in the Exeter office.
As a Python Software Developer, your main responsibilities will be: . Plan and lead development of user stories, software tasks . Find ways to improve system robustness, resilience and stability. . Design, code, test, and document software solutions. . Collaborate with other disciplines (Business Analyst, Product Manager, Lead Develop, Technical Architect) to fully understand the software requirements.
Essential: . Experienced within Python . Deployment to a variety of environments including Windows devices and Linux on AWS utilising AWS CDK, CloudFormation & GitHub Actions. . AWS Cloud Services experience . Active Security Clearance (SC) is required for this position.
