The Role

As a Graduate Business Development Executive, you'll help attract senior decision-makers to a programme of executive events. You'll receive structured, high-quality sales training and develop valuable skills in business development, consultative selling, research, communication and relationship management. From your first conversations with prospects through to meeting delegates at events, you'll take ownership of the engagement journey.

It's a target-driven role with plenty of room to grow, making it ideal if you're ambitious, resilient and keen to build a long-term career in sales.

  • Research senior decision-makers using LinkedIn and other relevant sources.
  • Build relationships with C-level executives through calls, email and video meetings.
  • Run discovery conversations to understand business priorities and identify relevant events.
  • Communicate the value of events and secure high-quality delegate attendance.
  • Attend events and strengthen relationships with delegates and clients.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence, organisation and resilience in a target-driven environment.
  • A genuine desire to build a career in sales and business development.
  • A collaborative, personable and solution-focused approach.

Nice-to-Have

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in any subject.
  • Previous business, sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Experience researching prospects using LinkedIn or similar platforms.
