Machinist bridge saw perator

Operate bridge saw machinery to cut slabs and materials to required measurements.

Read and interpret job sheets, drawings, and cutting lists.

Measure, mark, and prepare materials accurately before cutting.

Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and accuracy.

Carry out basic machine maintenance and report faults promptly.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Assist in unloading slabs from A frame and positioning on machine table.

Requirements

Previous experience operating a bridge saw or similar cutting machinery such as CNC.

Ability to read measurements, plans, and production instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Forklift licence or stone industry experience will be highly regarded.

Proficient in Cad, DXF files and Excel
