The role owns supplier acquisition, contracting, onboarding, account growth, and renewal across local experiences, city tours, day trips, sightseeing, transfers, food and beverage experiences, cruises, and outdoor activities, securing differentiated products, competitive pricing, reliable availability, and strong content that generate incremental GMV and improve the traveler experience

Why This Role:

  • Own the growth of Activities & Day Tours across the UK and Nordic region, covering mature city destinations and high-value nature-led experiences.
  • Build senior relationships across the regional experiences ecosystem, from tour operators and DMCs to sightseeing, transport, cruise, food and beverage, and outdoor-activity providers.
  • Drive measurable results across supplier acquisition, product activation, competitive supply, incremental GMV, and strategic account development.

In this Role, you’ll:

Market Strategy and Supplier Acquisition

  • Develop market and category plans for the UK and Nordic countries using sales data, customer demand, market trends, and competitor activity; build a qualified pipeline across priority destinations and product categories.
  • Source, sign, and activate high-potential tour operators, DMCs, local experience providers, sightseeing companies, transport and cruise operators, and other activities suppliers.
  • Lead commercial proposals and contract negotiations covering commissions, net rates, pricing, inventory, capacity, cut-off times, cancellation terms, content, marketing support, and renewals.

Key Account Growth and Product Competitiveness

  • Own strategic supplier relationships through regular reporting, senior stakeholder engagement, joint business reviews, performance plans, and disciplined renewal management.
  • Improve product coverage, exclusivity, price competitiveness, inventory availability, content quality, booking conditions, conversion, and distribution performance across priority accounts.
  • Develop joint business and marketing plans with key suppliers, including promotions, merchandising, seasonal campaigns, and destination-led growth initiatives.

Onboarding and Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to deliver efficient contracting, connectivity, content setup, product onboarding, testing, and launch readiness.
  • Resolve booking and service issues quickly, maintain supplier health and service standards, and ensure reliable fulfillment and a strong traveler experience after launch.

Commercial Projects and Destination Development

  • Identify and execute scalable commercial projects, including exclusive product launches, seasonal programs, bundles, and new distribution opportunities.
  • Build relationships with tourism boards, DMCs, booking systems, industry associations, and other ecosystem partners; translate regional market insights into new supply and market-share opportunities.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • At least 3 years of B2B sales, business development, key account management, or strategic partnership experience in tours and activities, OTAs, travel technology, tourism, or a related sector.
  • Proven success acquiring and growing tour-operator, DMC, activity-provider, or travel-supplier partnerships through complex commercial and contract cycles.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with strong written, presentation, and senior stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage GMV, pricing, inventory, conversion, account plans, and supplier economics using data.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and hands-on; comfortable owning both new business development and long-term account growth across multiple markets in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Able to travel frequently across the UK and Nordic countries for supplier meetings, trade events, onboarding, product reviews, and issue resolution.

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with leading UK or Nordic tour operators, DMCs, local experience providers, sightseeing companies, tourism boards, or booking-system partners.
  • Experience across multiple product categories, including day tours, city sightseeing, food and beverage experiences, transfers, cruises, outdoor activities, and cultural experiences.
  • Familiarity with booking-system connectivity, channel management, API integrations, product onboarding, and OTA distribution operations.
  • Professional proficiency in a Nordic language and experience scaling a successful activities or destination playbook across multiple European markets.
