- Strategic Leadership:Drive the strategic plan to evolve LPHOlder Person residential care facility. \n
- Executive & Operational Management:Lead a multidisciplinary leadershipteam across Finance,Human Resources,Medical, Nursing, Health and Social Care Professionals, Facilities Management, Procurement and Support Services while ensuring strict budgetary control. \n
- Governance & Compliance:Maintain full compliance with statutory obligations, HIQA standards,Food Safety Regulations, HSA, and act as the representative and Registered Provider for the designated centre. \n
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management:Build and nurture internal and external partnerships with other state agencies, voluntary sector, and academic institutions. \n

- Transformational Leadership: Proven track record at a senior executive level within healthcare or large complex organisations. \n
- Communication Skills: Strong influencing, negotiating, and relationship-building capabilities with external agencies. \n
- Governance Knowledge: Deep understanding of public health service structures, clinical governance, and strategic resource allocation. \n

- Undergraduate Degree:A relevant third-level degree (level 8 or equivalent). \n
- Postgraduate Qualification:A post-graduate degree or professional qualification in healthcare administration, hospital management, business leadership, or a related executive discipline is strongly preferred. \n
- Experience in Lieu/Addition:Candidates must also demonstrate a sound background in the health services sector alongside at least five years of senior management experience within a medium-to-large complex public or private organisation \n

Reporting Relationship & Delegated Functions\nA ll duties and respons ibiliti es resting with the Chief Executive other than those re l ating to Health and Safety l eg i s l ation are de l egated by the Board . In practice, operationa l management responsibility for individual serv i ces and areas rests with the Chief Executive and with in d ivi dua l managers/service heads who carry out these operationa l management responsibilities under the direction of the Chief Execut iv e .
\nIn the absence of any spec ifi c directions from the Board the Ch i ef Execut iv e sha ll be respons i b l e for the genera l contro l and management of the Hospital.
