Senior Software Engineer (Developer)

• Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
• The role will place you as a Senior Developer within the DVA ecosystem.

• As a SAP Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing maintaining and testing SAP solutions that support DVA’s business processes.

  You will work closely with Analysts, functional consultants and other IT specialists to deliver high-quality, secure and efficient SAP applications in line with government standards.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated practical experience in ECC to S/4HANA upgrade, migration, or remediation work within large and complex enterprise environments.

Key duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Develop, configure and maintain SAP modules.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them to technical specifications.
• Design, code test and implement SAP enhancements, report and interfaces.
• Support integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Identify, investigate and resolve SAP related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior developers.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching and performance testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Developer and deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Perform cost analysis activities as required.
• Work collaboratively and embrace agile ways for working.
