Summary
An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an Automation Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their automation expertise within a technically challenging engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation and ongoing development of automation and control systems across engineering projects.
- Assist with the commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and optimisation of automated equipment and systems.
- Work closely with Automation, Engineering and project teams to support the successful delivery of technical projects.
- Troubleshoot automation-related issues and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Prepare and maintain relevant technical documentation, specifications and engineering records.
Requirements
- Degree in Automation or a related discipline.
- Ideally 1-3+ years' relevant automation/controls experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good technical aptitude with an interest in developing a long-term career within automation and control systems.
