Position Overview

PV Mounting Solution Engineer focusing on residential and commercial rooftop solar projects in Germany, delivering customized technical solutions, pre-sales technical support and customer training, collaborating with sales team to expand local market share.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Partner with Account Managers to support assigned revenue targets and customer growth.
\n
• Engage with distributors, EPCs and installers, supporting both existing account development and new customer acquisition.
\n
• Develop technical solutions for rooftop solar mounting systems, including pitched-roof and flat-roof applications, and provide project-specific engineering support.
\n
• Support product promotion through technical presentations, product demonstrations and customer training.
\n
• Work with Account Managers and Marketing to share market insights, product updates and technical information with customers.
\n
• Track project pipelines and customer activities in CRM.
\n
• Provide structured customer and market feedback to the HQ team to support product development and R&D.
\n
• Maintain continuous professional development in line with relevant industry standards and regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

\n

\n
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical or Renewable Engineering.
\n
• 2+ years of experience in solar, renewable energy, engineering or a technical sales environment
\n
• Working knowledge of rooftop solar mounting products and racking systems, including pitched-roof and flat-roof solutions.
\n

• Strong understanding of rooftop PV solution design and solar mounting principles.
\n
• Logical problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
\n
• Hands-on experience with SPT design software.
\n
• Strong presentation, communication and customer engagement skills.
\n
• Fluent German and English; other languages are preferable.
