Storage Backup Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a Backup & Storage Administrator with strong experience in enterprise backup, storage, and network infrastructure.

Mandatory Skills

• PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) – backup and recovery administration.
• Dell EMC Data Domain (DD) – configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, replication, and backup integration.
• Strong knowledge of backup policies, schedules, retention, restores, and backup troubleshooting.
• Experience with NetApp Storage administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Cisco Switches and basic SAN/network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) and Data Domain environments.
• Configure backup jobs, policies, schedules, retention, and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot backup failures, replication issues, and storage capacity/performance problems.
• Manage and support NetApp storage environments, including capacity and performance monitoring.
• Support Cisco switch configuration, connectivity troubleshooting, and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Perform incident management, RCA, patching, upgrades, and maintain operational documentation.
