Corporate Accountant & Financial Reporting Specialist

Reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Accountant, you'll oversee SMEDCO's daily financial transactions and ensure accurate financial communications. Your role will involve preparing monthly statements, leading the annual audit, and collaborating on financial system improvements.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee SMEDCO's day-to-day accounting activities • Prepare financial statements and necessary reconciliations • Lead the audit process and coordinate external financial reporting • Manage loan accounting and financial data accuracy • Enhance financial policies and internal controls

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field • Minimum three years of progressive accounting experience • Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software • Additional experience in budgeting is a benefit
