Part-Qualified/Newly-Qualified Accountant

Our clients are presently recruiting a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join a growing group of companies in Killarney, County Kerry. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the financial operations of multiple businesses, with a strong focus on intercompany accounting. This role is ideal for someone currently working in an accountancy practice who is looking to move into industry and gain broader commercial experience.

This is a permanent, full time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting records across multiple group companies.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Process supplier invoices, creditors and debtors.
• Complete bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and statutory records.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow and finance projects.

About You

• Part-qualified/newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or Accounting Technician (ATI/AAT or equivalent).
• 3+ years’ bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally in practice.
• Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, VAT and reconciliations.
• Experience preparing company accounts and working across multiple entities.
• Strong Excel, organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
