Job Description

A fantastic first move for a newly qualified accountant, this role offers the chance to join a well-established organisation and build a strong foundation across financial reporting, controls, and commercial finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the preparation of financial statements across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and dig into any variances that arise
• Play a key role in driving month-end and year-end close
• Keep reporting aligned with relevant accounting standards
• Oversee the general ledger and journal entry process

Key Requirements:

• Newly qualified ACA with a background in a Big 4 firm
• Sharp commercial instincts backed by strong analytical ability
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work
• Driven and energetic, with a track record of hitting deadlines and targets
• Confident with IT tools, especially Excel and AI applications
