PIANO TEACHER - Etobicoke - Lots of Students (PT or FT) at Orrett Music Academy

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. Our team of nearly 60 teachers needs more piano teachers. Piano teachers, while fun and relatable, need also be properly educated and have a strong grasp of music theory.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in music (or other professional training)
• Classical teachers benefit from RCM Grade 10 or higher.
• Modern Piano teachers benefit from post-secondary jazz or pop/rock training
• 2 years of prior experience working at a reputable music school in Canada is a major asset

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience working with younger children
• Infectious outgoing personality
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Additional experience working with children (camps, coaching etc) is an asset

Pay is dependent on an applicant having completed a University degree or professional equivalent in music. We welcome non-university graduates / pros at a rate of $25-$28/hr.
