The Role
We’re on the lookout for a Geotechnical Engineer, ideally with at least 3 years of experience to join our Brisbane team. The role will initially include a significant fieldwork component that will provide the opportunity for both local work and travel.
- Planning, coordinating and conducting geotechnical investigations including fieldwork and scheduling laboratory testing
- Conducting field testing techniques and obtaining rock and soil samples for laboratory testing
- Undertaking of construction phase site assessment and investigation services
- Interpretating geotechnical data gathered during the site investigations, performing analysis and developing recommendations to prepare geotechnical factual reports
- Assisting with geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement designs, earthworks and other geo-structures
- Managing activities and tasks in accordance with relevant technical guidelines, codes, and standards
- Assisting in managing timelines, budgets, and resources on projects
- Communicate and report opportunities, risks, hazards, incidents, technical deviations, and achievements proactively
Over time we expect our field staff to move from a largely field-based role to an office-based role incorporating analysis, design and reporting for a variety of geotechnical engineering projects for building, infrastructure and energy/resources applications.

What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- License: A full driver’s license is required.
