Position Overview

Experience

• Minimum five(5) years related clinical experience required.
  


• One (1) year educational and clinical diabetes experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current C.R.N.M registration required.


• Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities.


• Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills.


• Demonstrated clinical and teaching expertise.


• Demonstrated leadership skills.


• Demonstrated ability to adapt readily to changing demands and situations.


• Previous experience in an expanded nursing role an asset.
