Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the Fusion Data & Analytics team. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) to leverage data and analytics in support of financial crime detection, incident response, and threat mitigation initiatives.

The successful candidate will analyze large and complex datasets to identify emerging threat patterns, investigate suspicious behaviors, and develop data-driven threat detection strategies. This role plays a key part in protecting clients, employees, and organizational assets by uncovering hidden trends associated with fraud, money laundering, cyber threats, and other financial crime activities.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data and analytics especially in the financial crime detection area or incident response, or any related field, with a strong record of impact (Fraud, AML, threat detection, cybersecurity background experience)
• Can demonstrate knowledge and experience in data handling and manipulation
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, and scripting languages like Spark/Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis are highly valued
• Previous experience in a financial institution.
• Experience with Neo4j - graph database
