Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (Investment Management)

Toronto, ON | Hybrid

Talent To Hire is seeking an Intermediate BSA within Investment Management/ Wealth Management sector.This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of business, technology, and investment operations, supporting critical applications, data integrations, and business transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements

• Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to deliver solutions

• Support portfolio management, trading, performance reporting, and back-office systems

• Manage system integrations, data feeds, and vendor relationships

• Investigate production issues and drive resolution of business-critical challenges

• Create user stories, maintain JIRA backlogs, and participate in Agile delivery

• Support UAT, system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives

• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly solutions

What You'll Bring

• 5-7 years of Business Systems Analysis experience

• Experience within Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Brokerage environments

• Strong understanding of portfolio management, portfolio accounting, trading, performance reporting, and investment operations

• Experience gathering business requirements and delivering technology solutions

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

• Snowflake experience ( big plus)

• AWS or cloud platform exposure

• Linux/Unix experience

• Experience with portfolio accounting, performance attribution, or investment operations platforms

• Vendor management experience
