Part-Time Primary English Teacher (P1–P6)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated part-time English teacher who is confident in teaching Singapore Primary English, with a strong focus on writing and reading comprehension.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant English teaching experience
• Current or previous teaching experience in an MOE government primary or secondary school
• Relevant MOE-recognised teaching qualifications or professional credentials
• Strong knowledge of the key English learning objectives and syllabus requirements across Primary 1 to Primary 6
• Familiarity with PSLE English Writing and Reading Comprehension
• Proven ability to help students achieve consistent and measurable academic improvement
• Particular strength in teaching writing, including content development, organisation, vocabulary, grammar and editing
• Available to teach approximately 5-8 hours per week
• Able to offer flexible teaching availability on weekdays
• Friendly, approachable, adaptable and able to communicate effectively with students and parents
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons for P1-P6 students
• Teach writing and reading comprehension strategies aligned with MOE and PSLE expectations
• Identify students' learning needs and provide targeted support
• Monitor student progress and communicate constructive feedback to parents
• Prepare suitable lesson materials and provide homework guidance and marking when required
