Theatre Staff Nurse — Day Surgery & Wound Care | Eccles Clinic, Dublin 7

Monday to Friday. No nights, no weekends, no on-call. Permanent, full-time, €40,000–€55,000.

Eccles Clinic is a private ambulatory surgical clinic on Eccles Street founded in 2009. We do planned day-case surgery only — minor plastics, dermatology and outpatient procedures — which means predictable lists, no emergency admissions, and a theatre that runs to time.

You'd split your week between the theatre complex and our dedicated post-operative treatment room, where all wound care is managed. That room is yours: you'd assess, dress, review, remove sutures and educate patients through their whole recovery, working with the same consultants and the same small team every day. It's continuity you don't get on a rotating acute roster.

You'll bring:

• Active NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse
• At least 2 years' post-registration experience in theatre, day surgery or an acute setting
• Confident aseptic technique, scrubbing or circulating
• The judgement to work independently — this is a small team, not a large one

Useful but not essential: a postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing or wound care, experience with minor plastics or dermatology lists, or a background in audit and quality improvement. We're an accredited clinic and there's real scope to lead audit and policy work if that's a direction you want to grow in.

What we offer:

• €40,000 -€55,000 based on the 2026 INMO staff nurse salary scale and depending on experience
• 25 days' annual leave, pension contribution, CPD allowance
