I am recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to join a growing insurance group on a high-impact project focused on understanding the value of assets across the business.

This is a great opportunity for a contractor with a strong insurance and data analytics background who wants to work on something commercially meaningful, with direct exposure to the CFO and senior stakeholders.

You’ll be getting into complex business data, analysing what is driving value, comparing performance across the group and turning your findings into insights that can influence how the business makes decisions.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyse large and complex datasets to assess the value of assets across the business
• Identify trends, patterns and relationships within business and financial data
• Compare asset value and performance across different areas of the group
• Identify the key drivers influencing value and commercial performance
• Develop analysis and reporting to help senior stakeholders understand performance and value

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Data Analyst, Business Analyst or similar
• Strong insurance industry experience
• Strong experience working with large and complex datasets
• Ability to interpret data and understand the commercial story behind the numbers
• Must be available for immediate start
