Were looking to recruit an Account Manager within AA Cars where you'll manage a portfolio of 100200 established dealer accounts across the South East, building strong relationships and helping our partners get the most from the AA Cars platform.
This is a field-based role where you'll spend four days a week visiting dealerships and one day planning your week. You'll focus on retaining and growing existing accounts through contract renewals, price negotiations, increasing stock listings, and identifying upsell opportunities across our range of products and services, including Vehicle Inspections and more. New business isn't your focus our dedicated sales team takes care of that.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating with confidence and spotting commercial opportunities. You'll have the chance to earn up to 10,000 in commission each year, with commission available from your first month, alongside a company hybrid car, fuel card and the support of a trusted, well-known brand.
What will I be doing?- Build, retain and grow a portfolio of dealer accounts, delivering against monthly retention targets.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV) and maximise account growth.
- Negotiate contract renewals and expanded stock listings to grow revenue.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Vehicle Inspections and Mediation teams to deliver the best outcomes for dealers.
- Proactively reduce dealer attrition by identifying risks early and resolving issues effectively.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and deliver against agreed service standards.
- Manage your portfolio commercially, identifying opportunities to increase revenue while protecting long-term partnerships.
- Champion AA values and represent the brand with professionalism and integrity.
What do I need?
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and develop trusted, long-term partnerships with dealers and key stakeholders.
- Confident negotiation skills, with proven experience influencing outcomes, identifying commercial opportunities and closing deals.
- Resilient and self-motivated, with the ability to overcome challenges, handle objections and deliver results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Customer-focused, with a passion for delivering outstanding service and creating positive customer experiences.
- Proactive problem-solver with sound judgement and the ability to manage risk effectively.
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Confident travelling across the South East to visit dealer partners, with a full UK driving licence (with less than 6 points) essential for this field-based role.
