Development Officer

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in the South East London are looking for an experienced Development Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Delivery operations.

Position: Development Officer
Location: South East London
Salary: £500 a day umbrella
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9:00am - 5:00pm 
Contract: 6 months possible extension 

Key Responsibilities

• Devise, steer and deliver existing housing delivery projects and programmes, and establish new housing delivery projects and programmes.
• Support the Builds Housing Delivery function, in particular to be responsible for specific development projects.
• Assisting existing Project Managers with Handovers, Tenancy liaison and during Defects Liability Period.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years experience within a Development Officer role or an equivalent role.
• Basic knowledge of construction requirements within a Local Authority setting, specifically housing.
• Experience in site acquisition, project monitoring and reporting, Handovers and Defects Liability Period management.
