The opportunity

• Build complex, production-grade AI agent systems from 0 to 1
• Architect distributed systems for enterprise healthcare environments
• Work across LLMs, agent orchestration, tool calling, multi-turn routing, and MCP integrations
• Own system architecture, scalability, and reliability
• Stay deeply hands-on while providing technical guidance to other engineers

What we're looking for

• 7+ years building complex production systems
• Recent hands-on experience as a Staff, Principal, Senior ML/AI, or Senior Software Engineer
• Proven from 0 to 1 startup engineering experience
• Strong Python and ML/AI engineering background
• Shipped experience with AI agents, tool calling, agent harnesses, or multi-turn systems
• Strong systems thinking and distributed-systems experience
• High agency and comfort operating in ambiguous early-stage environments
• Based in Europe / EMEA

Strong advantages

• Healthcare or clinical systems experience
• HIPAA, audit trails, or regulated-data environments
• Deep Data Science / Machine Learning background
• Advanced agent infrastructure, MCP, routing, and prompt-management experience
• Previous experience at high-growth AI-native startups
• Strong Math, Physics, Computer Science, ML, or related academic background
