Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst for our Business Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets to drive informed decision-making and enhance the quality of insights for the Finance, Delivery, HR, Sales, and Internal Operations teams. We are seeking someone with a strong passion for data and analytics, business acumen, and demonstrated experience in data storytelling and statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive stakeholders and cross functional teams to define data requirements, metrics/key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement data-driven solutions to effectively evaluate and interpret business needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into key performance metrics.
• Build and manage our data pipelines using Hevo and other tools (i.e., Airflow) to ensure a streamlined and accurate flow of information into our data warehouse MS SQL (Future: BigQuery).
• Troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency; identify quality issues, report to stakeholders, and drive the resolution process.
• You will gather data and system requirements, process large datasets, and perform ongoing analysis.
• Create and track metrics, describing the quality of data produced by pipelines; iIntegrate additional data sources into existing datasets and perform impactful calculations.
• Develop and maintain production implementations with comprehensive understanding of our data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed.
• Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytics methods/models as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analysis processes.

Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or relevant quantitative field
• Demonstrated proficiency with data modeling and BI Tools such as Tableau, Google Looker, Google Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, etc.
• 2+ years of experience utilizing programming languages (e.g. C++, Python, R, SQL Java) to collect and analyze data
• Demonstrated ability to use data, user-centric dashboards, and reports to generate insight, tell cohesive stories, and drive business results based on customer requirements
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau
• Be able to support cross-functional executives and initiate and drive new data research and development directions
• World-class communication skills and strong ability to partner with teams across North America and Latin America
• Self-starter who takes initiative in solving problems and can self-manage commitments and deadlines

• Leverage machine learning and AI tools to help advance projects and develop capabilities
• Ability to explore datasets, prototype data science concepts, and build data pipelines to provide insights at scale that will be shared through reports and dashboards
• Ability to generate insights and create systems that ingest, classify, and transform internal and external datasets to enable scaled qualitative and quantitative research
• MBA is a plus
