Shopify Developer (Req. English)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to build visually appealing and user-friendly online storefronts.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across all devices.
• Integrate third-party and internal APIs to enhance site functionality and maintain seamless operations.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate project requirements into functional web elements.
• Optimize websites in compliance with SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues to ensure site reliability and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shopify features and eCommerce trends to incorporate best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience for Intermediate level or 5+ years for Senior level in Shopify development.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce development and platform capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate to fluent level.
• College degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in related disciplines.
• Experience with advanced Shopify features such as Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks related to front-end or back-end development.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Prior experience working in agile or scrum environments.
