Job Description
Our client in Toronto is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. Someone who has experience working with a stamping, welding and/or tube forming manufacturing company as has experience creating packaging for manufactured parts.
Position Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Vacancy Status:
This is an active vacancy.
Compensation :
$80,000 - $90,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for the production/maintenance team
- Support estimating and sales for quoting purposes
- Lead continuous improvement activities of products and processes within the company using 5S or Lean methodologies
- Provide engineering support commissioning new equipment
- Work with product design as it pertains to DFMA
- Communicate with suppliers
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years’ of work experience in manufacturing setting
- Work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or as a Process Engineer
- Experience with stamping, welding, and/or tube forming
- Good understanding and experience in packaging.
