Job Summary
JD.com, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bulky Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our large item warehousing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of bulky goods, optimizing processes, and leading a high-performing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the bulky goods warehouse, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of large and irregularly shaped items.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material handling procedures, and inventory management strategies specifically tailored for bulky goods.
- Optimize space utilization and minimize damage to bulky items through proper storage techniques and equipment usage.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, and manual handlers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and productivity targets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving efficiency, storage accuracy, picking rates, and shipping timeliness, implementing corrective actions as needed.
