Hays are delighted to be working with a specialist joinery and interior fit-outpany who provide their bespoke services to the retail,mercial, hospitality and residential sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Based in the North Down area, your newpany has over 30 years of experience in shopfitting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, which is produced right in their own in-house workshop. This experience means you, along with your new team, can deliver the very high standard of quality & finish that your clients expect, on time and on budget.

Sporting a portfolio of fit-out schemes across themercial & office, hospitality, pharmacy, and retail sectors, they will bemencing a new office fit-out scheme as main contractor in theing weeks.


Your new role

Your new role will see you based on a new office fit out scheme in Belfast’s docklands, overseeing a full package of joinery and other dry trades. As such, experience of similar projects, or indeed a strong background in a fit-out or joinery-oriented role is preferable. You will be expected to oversee and manage all programme and labour on site and acting as a direct point of contact between workers on the ground and the contracts manager.

With plenty of work in the pipeline in NI, the successful candidate can be assured of long-term work at home, with no need for excessive travel to fulfil your duties. This initial project will run for 20 weeks and ensures work in Belfast until early 2027.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to fulfil the role to its full requirements, you must have proven experience working as a Site Manager on fast-paced fit-out projects, particularly within office space &mercial sectors. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to motivate the site team to meet projectpletion within time and budget. You will be Health & Safety focused with first-class planning and organisational skills.

A strong level ofmunication is required in order to deliver concise progress reports to the senior operational team and client. You must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certification, ideallying from a joinery/carpentry trade background.
