This is an excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity with a business who are going through a significant period of change and could lead to a long-term appointment.

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate payment of supplier invoices, ensuring all supplier queries are handled in a professional manner and any ad-hoc duties as required. If you have experience of preparing and submitting payment runs, bank reconciliations and have a strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, this could be the ideal role.

About you

• 1 years' experience within an Accounts Payable function
• Experience of preparing and submitting payment runs
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Preparing and submitting supplier payment runs on a fortnightly basis
• Handling all supplier queries in relation to non-payment/late payment in a timely manner
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing remittance advices
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Posting payments to creditors ledger
