1. Role Summary

The Contract Execution Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts and order management processes. This role ensures that all agreements are accurately prepared, reviewed, and negotiated in alignment with company policies and commercial objectives. Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics teams, and customers, the Contract Manager coordinates production timelines, shipment schedules, and delivery performance to guarantee operational accuracy and efficiency.

The position also manages documentation, tracks order progress, resolves commercial and operational issues, and provides regular reporting to support decision-making. A focus on risk mitigation, proactive problem-solving, and continuous process improvement is essential to drive optimal commercial and operational outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Preparation & Review:
  • Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and related documentation in coordination with suppliers and customers. Ensure all terms align with company policies and commercial objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers and customers to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Operational Coordination:
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics teams, and customers to monitor production schedules, shipment timelines, and delivery performance.
  • Documentation & Tracking:
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for all operational documents, including purchase orders, specifications, invoices, and shipment records.
  • Claim Resolution:
  • Handle and document supplier and customer requests, modifications, and claims. Ensure claims are resolved efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement:
  • Provide management with regular updates on order and contract status, identify potential risks or delays, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

4. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, International Trade, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years  contract experience ideally in steel, commodities, supply chain, industrial products, or digital marketplaces.
  • Proven experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and post-execution support.
  • Experience working with international suppliers or clients, preferably in Latin America, Europe, or Asia.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM tools and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data for decision-making, forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to understand, explain, and work with AI-powered platforms or technology-driven solutions.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish and willingness to travel when required.
