About the Centre/Service

Winston Hills Preschool is an innovative and well-respected sessional kindergarten located in the leafy suburb of Viewbank, 12km North East of Melbourne’s CBD. The Preschool environment provides a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture active ‘learning through play’. We offer an indoor/outdoor program to children from the local Banyule area, with two 3-year-old groups and three 4-year-old groups.

Description

Winston Hills Preschool is seeking a motivated and passionate Educator for a 3-year-old group in Terms 4, with possible extension to 2027. You must have a strong understanding of the VEYLDF and NQF, have the motivation to work collaboratively with fellow teachers, as well as possess a deep commitment towards reflective practice and professional development.

  • Contact hours will be 15 hours per week, during two sessions on Tuesday and Friday.
  • Additional 3.75 hours non-contact time will be on Wednesdays, and will be paid in accordance with VECTEA.
  • The successful applicant will start the role at the beginning of Term 4, October 2026.

Qualifications

Suitable applicants must have:

  • a minimum qualification of a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services
  • First Aid including current CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma.
  • Child Protection and Child Safety certificates.
