We are seeking an outstanding Preschool Teacher to join our Early Years team and contribute to a warm, engaging, and child-centred learning environment.

Our Preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and provides children aged 2 to 5 with a strong foundation for lifelong learning through play-based, inquiry-led experiences.

An excellent, fluent level of English is a requirement for this position. Please only apply if you have at least an advanced or native level of English. All documentation should be submitted in English.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting Early Childhood Development

Understanding Child Development: Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development and use this knowledge to support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language growth.

Creating Meaningful Learning Experiences: Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and independence.

Building Strong Foundations: Foster the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal, social, and emotional skills through purposeful and age-appropriate activities.

Creating a Safe and Nurturing Environment

Positive Relationships: Build warm, trusting relationships with children, creating a sense of security and belonging within the classroom community.

Well-Structured Learning Environment: Establish clear routines and expectations that support children's confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.

Promoting Positive Behaviour: Guide children's behaviour with patience, consistency, and respect, helping them develop self-regulation, empathy, and social skills.

Partnership with Families: Develop strong relationships with families, maintaining open communication and working collaboratively to support each child's development and well-being.

Inspiring Curiosity and Exploration

Child-Centred Learning: Create opportunities for children to investigate, explore, question, and discover through hands-on experiences and inquiry-based learning.

Learning Through Play: Design stimulating indoor and outdoor learning experiences that encourage imagination, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity.

Observation and Assessment: Observe children's learning and development carefully, using assessment to inform planning and ensure each child receives the support and challenge they need to flourish.

Supporting Holistic Development

Well-being and Emotional Growth: Promote children's confidence, resilience, and emotional literacy through positive interactions and meaningful learning experiences.

Outdoor Learning: Embrace opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, encouraging children to connect with nature, develop independence, and explore the world around them.

Inclusive Practice: Create an environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported as an individual learner.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching within an Early Years setting, ideally following the EYFS framework.
  • Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning approaches.
  • Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.Native-level fluency in English is essential.
