American Lighting is seeking a motivated National Accounts Coordinator to become a valuable addition to our team. With a focus on large National retail, DIY, and mass merchant accounts, the National Accounts Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring the seamless coordination of various tasks. Responsibilities:



  • Analyze key accounts and sales reports to identify opportunities, gaps, lost categories, and margin deterioration.

  • Prepare and adjust sales presentations, proposals, quotes, and documentation for new and existing customers based on account history and objectives.

  • Serve as a main point of contact for key accounts and national retailers, responding to customer needs, inquiries, and service calls.

  • Maintain and organize accurate records, sales reports, and files for the account base.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product management, finance, marketing, logistics, technical service) to address requests and fulfill customer needs.

  • Process sample order requests and verify customer orders for accuracy, terms, and pricing.

  • Generate historical reports on sales, pricing, and order patterns to support decision-making.

  • Develop and monitor sales forecasts and inventory levels, review POS data from retailers.

  • Review and research customer deductions collaboratively with finance.

  • Prioritize and plan workflow daily, juggling multiple projects and conflicting priorities.

  • Assist with special projects and business development initiatives as required.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills (digital and in-person).

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven tasks with excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively or independently.

  • Experience in retail, DIY, or mass merchant channels preferred.
