Native or Bilingual German & Japanese Teachers | Freelance

LingoGalaxy is looking for native or bilingual German- or Japanese-speaking teachers to deliver personalized online lessons to children and teenagers.

You do not need to be registered as a freelancer to work with LingoGalaxy.

All lessons are fully online, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Previous experience teaching children is preferred but not required.

What We Offer

• Fully remote teaching — work from anywhere.
• Flexible scheduling — minimum availability of 12 hours per week during our peak teaching hours:
• 16:00–20:00 CET for European students
• 16:00–20:00 EST for US students
• Dedicated HR support — our HR team is available throughout your collaboration to assist with student-related, scheduling, technical, or other work-related issues.

Creative Freedom in Your Teaching

We encourage teachers to use their own teaching resources and create engaging, age-appropriate lesson presentations tailored to each student's needs.

This is an opportunity to use your own teaching style, creativity, and ideas to develop lessons that work well for your students and that you genuinely enjoy teaching. We also provide guidance and resources when needed.

Compensation

• €8 per 30-minute lesson
• €14 per 60-minute lesson

Requirements

• Native or bilingual German or Japanese proficiency.
• Availability for at least 12 hours per week during the specified peak hours.
• Ability and willingness to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson materials.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.
