Position Overview

We're hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team at Stoney Trail Mazda. You'll code, verify, and process incoming vendor invoices, reconcile monthly statements, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payment runs — all in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment. Whether you're an experienced AP professional or building your career in automotive accounting, we provide the training to help you grow.

What You'll Do

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and on schedule
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with internal departments and suppliers
• Maintain organized transaction records and support month-end close
• Collaborate with department managers, vendors, and core administration
• Support other accounting functions and general administrative duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting (or a strong administrative background with accounting education)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and computer-based accounting software
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to multitask under deadlines
• Team-first attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PBS Systems or another Dealership Management System (DMS)
• Previous accounting experience within an automotive dealership
