What's the role about?

As a Mobile Technician (Apple Service Technician L1), you will support device repair operations by performing modular repairs on mobile devices, including battery replacements, display/screen replacements, charging port replacements, camera module repairs and other non-micro-soldering component repairs. You will play a key role in ensuring devices are repaired efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with strict quality and process standards. This role is an entry point into the technical repair stream and offers strong growth opportunities within the organization.

The successful candidate must hold current Apple Certified Support Technician (ACST) and Apple Certified Repair Technician (ACRT) certifications and be capable of performing repairs in accordance with Apple authorized service standards and procedures. This role is based in our Auburn Device Care Centre in a full time permanent capacity.

The successful applicant must have current AppleCare Technician Certifications (ACTC), including:

  • Apple Certified Support Technician (ACST) and/or
  • Apple Certified Repair Technician (ACRT)

In addition, you will have:

  • Understanding of Apple authorized repair processes, diagnostics, and quality standards.
  • Basic understanding of mobile devices and hardware components.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for system updates, diagnostics, and documentation.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively while handling sensitive electronic components and customer devices.
