Job DescriptionService / Parts Advisor Southwest Dublin 10 Our client, an established and busy organisation based in Dublin, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Service / Parts Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in service, parts, plant, engineering or the motor trade who enjoys a busy, customer-focused environment and wants to take the next step in their career. Youll be at the heart of the service operation, working closely with Service Engineers, customers and the Parts Department to ensure jobs are planned efficiently, the correct parts are available and customers are kept informed throughout the process.
Responsibilities Planning and coordinating daily jobs with Service Engineers Organising parts required for service and repair jobs Liaising with the Parts Department to ensure parts are available and ready for engineers Preparing and managing customer quotations Handling a busy volume of customer calls and enquiries Keeping customers updated and managing expectations Coordinating with internal departments to ensure jobs run smoothly Using inhouse and Microsoft Office systems Assisting with invoicing when required Dealing with account and service queries Supporting the Service Manager with reporting and general administration Prioritising multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment Experience experience in a similar Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Service Coordinator or Workshop/Service Administration role in the following sectors Construction plant or equipment Engineering or mechanical services Motor trade / automotive Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Confident dealing with customers over the phone Commercially aware and customer focused A strong communicator Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills Proactive and capable of working on their own initiative A good mechanical or technical understanding would be highly advantageous, although strong organisational and customer service skills are equally important.
