Software Developer

• Contribute to modern web and cross-platform development initiatives.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot as part of your daily engineering workflow.
• Collaborate with experienced software engineers, QA professionals, and designers across Toronto and global engineering teams.

What You’ll Bring

1. Strong Software Engineering Fundamentals

• 5–6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Outstanding programming, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interest in software architecture and application design.
• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, secure, and stable production software.

2. Modern Web Development

• Experience with Node.js / NPM.
• Experience building applications using React and Redux.
• Understanding of web-based technologies, concepts, and constructs.
• Experience developing modular, componentized web applications.

3. AI-Assisted Development

• Professional experience using AI coding assistants in production software development as part of your daily workflow.
• Experience with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable AI-powered development tools.
• Build scalable and maintainable web applications and frameworks.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Work closely with software engineers, QA, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Estimate development tasks, assess technical risks, and identify dependencies to support effective project planning.
• Contribute to a collaborative Agile development environment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Apply automated testing strategies and tools to improve software quality and reliability.
• Work with Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, engineering practices, and development approaches.
