Commercial Accountant (1 year PQE)

We're working with a growing organisation seeking a Commercial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to develop their experience across financial planning, analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities, providing valuable insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis, management reports and variance analysis.


• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.


• Develop and maintain financial models and performance dashboards.


• Analyse costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies.


• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.


• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.


• Maintain financial data integrity and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.


• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial financial insights

About You

• Industry experience.


• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1+ year PQE


• Previous experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management accounting or a similar finance role is preferred


• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.


• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.


• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Commercially aware with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
