Job Description

BUSUP is a global corporate mobility company helping organizations rethink how their people get to work. Through a technology-driven, asset-light model, we combine data, AI-powered route optimization, operational expertise, and a trusted network of local transport operators to make employee commuting more efficient, flexible, and sustainable.

We partner with large companies across Europe, Latin America, and North America to design, manage, and continuously improve shared mobility solutions that reduce costs, lower emissions, and create a better commuting experience for employees. At BUSUP, we believe the future of corporate mobility is smarter, more connected, and built around people, helping companies move their teams with greater efficiency, visibility, and impact.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

BusUp is looking for a Global Operations Manager to lead the Global Transformation & Strategic Projects department. This person will act as the right hand to executive leadership, turning strategy into execution across BusUp's four markets (Iberia, Mexico, Brazil and the United States). The role sits at the intersection of process, project management and people.

It requires strong project management discipline to plan, sequence and deliver multi-market initiatives on time and within scope; the operational rigor to design and standardize processes end to end; and — just as importantly — the influence and interpersonal skill to align stakeholders in four different markets, cultures and functions behind a single way of working.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Global Project Management — own the end-to-end delivery: build and manage project plans, milestones, resources and risk logs across four markets, and report progress against OTIF (On Time, In Full) targets to executive leadership.
  • Process & Operating Model Transformation — lead end-to-end process mapping, redesign and standardization across global operations.
  • Transformation & Digital Enablement — plan and execute strategic organizational, digital and operational transformation projects, including AI, automation and technology adoption (starting with Customer Care).
  • Change Management & Adoption — drive change management so that new processes, tools and ways of working are genuinely adopted, not just documented — building stakeholder alignment and team engagement market by market.
  • Strategic Analysis & Value Creation — run quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify opportunities for risk mitigation and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU BRING

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in operations, transformation, strategy or process-improvement roles, including exposure to multi country environments.
  • Demonstrated track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects end to end — from scoping and planning through delivery and adoption — not just delivering a deck or a process map.
  • Prior experience partnering with Customer Care, Product, Data or IT functions on automation/AI initiatives is a strong plus.

Project management — a core requirement

  • Proven project management rigor: able to build project plans, define milestones and dependencies, manage risk, and deliver multi-market initiatives on time, within scope and to the required quality (OTIF mindset).
  • Comfortable running several global projects in parallel, each with its own stakeholders, timeline and success criteria.
  • PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum or equivalent) is a strong plus.
  • Experience setting up and running project governance

Technical & operational profile

  • Solid grounding in process design and improvement methodologies, with the discipline to document processes precisely and consistently across markets.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable defining KPIs, working with data to diagnose issues, and building the business case for change.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation initiatives and technology adoption in an operational context.
  • Experience in multi-country / multi-market operations, ideally in transport, mobility, logistics or a comparable operations-heavy industry.

People & influence — the differentiator

  • A natural consensus-builder: able to bring four markets with different priorities, habits and constraints to a shared standard without imposing it top-down.
  • High trust-building capability — credible with frontline teams, market leaders and executive leadership alike.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and change management skills; comfortable navigating resistance and turning skeptics into sponsors.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the cultural sensitivity to work effectively across Iberia, Mexico, Brazil and the US.
  • Resilience and patience for long-cycle initiatives — global standardization is won through many small alignments, not a single decision.
  • Bilingual English/Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.

BUSUP BENEFITS

  • Hybrid work: Up to 2 remote working days per week, in line with our current policy.
  • Meal & transportation vouchers
  • Health insurance: 50% of the cost covered by the company.
  • Gympass: Access to fitness and wellness services.
  • Conexa Saúde: Access to specialist support, including nutrition and psychological services.
  • Company laptop: Standard company-issued laptop and all necessary software licenses.
  • Birthday Day Off: Half a day off on your birthday.
  • Annual leave: In accordance with Brazilian labor law (CLT).
  • Culture of autonomy & accountability: A work environment that encourages ownership, autonomy, and continuous feedback.
  • Purpose-driven culture: A strong focus on our values, mission, and positive impact.

If you believe you match these values, we look forward to meeting you!
