About the role
We’re looking for a Global Partnership Manger to join our growing Communications & Global Engagement function which sits within the King’s Digital Operations team. This is a new role which will give you the opportunity to shape our global engagement strategy, forging new business-to-business (B2B) partnerships across a wide range of industries and translating King’s Digital’s value proposition for employers and sponsors.
The Global Partnership Manager will play a vital role in shaping and advancing relationships with external business partners and faculties. Through employer-facing campaigns and compelling narratives, you will articulate how postgraduate study with a leading UK university can support employee career development, workforce upskilling, and talent specialisms. The role will be important for driving growth of our student body through the development of appropriate external partner relationships and identification of revenue opportunities from partnerships.
Working across a range of communications channels and directly with potential partners, you will increase awareness of King’s Digital among businesses and employees, driving regular applications to our programmes from B2B partnerships. Guided by the Communications and Global Engagement Manager, you will pilot new ideas to establish King’s Digital in this space. You will also work closely with faculty and academics to understand unique selling points for programmes and how to promote them to professionals.
The role will also foster and evolve existing relationships with partner universities in the United States, Australia and beyond. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the postholder will help define how King’s collaborates with global university partners, contributing insights that inform future strategic priorities.
Furthermore, you will be involved with the day-to-day delivery of King’s Digital’s internal and external communications strategy to continue building brand awareness among key audiences and managing the reputation of the university’s online master’s programmes. Projects will include but are not limited to, an internal communications campaign to drive engagement with King’s Digital among academic staff and supporting with the running of the King’s Online Programmes LinkedIn channel.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to shape a new role and develop communications and stakeholder engagement skills in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
The successful candidate will have strong communication, relationship-building and management skills, ideally with experience in communications, marketing or B2B engagement.
This is a hybrid role, and post holders will be required on campus a minimum of 2-days per week.
This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of developing and delivering cross-channel communications and/or marketing campaigns via digital channels and in-person events
- Proven experience of working with and influencing a range of stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver shared outcomes
- The ability to translate value propositions to a range of audiences through considered, targeted communication
- A quality-led, creative, self-starter who is comfortable thinking outside the box and bringing innovative ideas
- The ability to provide clear guidance and support to colleagues or junior staff, enabling those with varying levels of experience to contribute effectively to communications activity
- Experience of using data, analytics and insight to evaluate performance, inform decision-making and optimise future delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, responding positively to changing priorities and multiple demands
- Experience building B2B relationships or working in scholarships or philanthropy
- Experience working with global Higher Education or industry partners
- Communications or marketing professional qualification
