Dry Fire Technician

This is a full-time position for an experienced Fire Technician who is confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a supportive team. Your day-to-day work will include routine inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment, testing and servicing in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, fault finding and repairs, completing service reports and compliance documentation, liaising professionally with clients and site contacts, and working across a variety of sites throughout Brisbane North and Ipswich.

Key responsibilities

• Routine inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment including; Portables, Emergency Lights, Fire Panels
• Testing and servicing in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851
• Fault finding and repairs
• Installation of new dry fire systems.
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation
• Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
• Working across a variety of sites throughout Brisbane North and Ipswich

• Qualified and experienced Fire Technician
• Relevant licences, accreditation and industry experience
• Good understanding of Australian Standards and fire compliance requirements
• Takes pride in their workmanship
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Communicates well with customers and other team members
• Experience across multiple areas of fire protection highly regarded
