Customer Service Specialist

We have a position that has become available within our enthusiastic, motivated customer service team, experience is not necessary, we will help you to grow and develop your skills, all you need is a willingness to learn & a positive attitude, be dedicated & proud to be a part of our ever growing and very passionate team.

This position is permanent full-time Monday to Friday, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career through the Mainfreight Transport business.

The ideal candidate will require both strong interpersonal and great time management skills, a commitment to follow up and follow through issues, a positive “can-do” attitude, and good computer skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• A positive work and customer focused attitude
• Liaising with internal and external drivers and customers
• Liaising with other teams/team members
• Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written
• Confidence in both speaking to and meeting new people
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliability, punctuality, and good time management skills

• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively within a pressurised environment
• Forward thinker who can work with limited supervision and provide/deliver exceptional customer solutions
• Energy, passion, and a desire to progress through the Mainfreight business
