MR Truck Driver - Immediate Start - Ormeau, QLD

Position: MR Truck Delivery Driver
Location: Ormeau, QLD
Pay Rate: $36.00/hr (casual)
Hours: Runs commence between 4:30am and 8:00am, with finish times dependent on daily workload
Employment Type: Casual, ongoing (potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: Immediate Start

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Drive Medium Rigid (MR) trucks to worksites to perform deliveries
• Physical and repetitive labouring tasks
• Load and unload material from trucks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Adhere to road safety laws and fatigue management regulations

Requirements:

• A valid MR truck licence with a minimum of 12 months on-road driving experience
• Must provide a Driver History Report from last 5 years
• Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
• Reliable transport for early starts (Public transport is not available)
• Prior experience with deliveries, construction sites, or removalist work (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Valid Forklift Licence (advantageous but not mandatory)
