Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Engineer

• Meet periodically with clients to understand their processes, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into technological solutions.
• Design, develop, and iterate MVPs of conversational agents using AI technologies, validating hypotheses with clients in short cycles.
• Build sustainable, scalable software on a common platform that supports multiple conversational solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and other Product Engineers to define the best technical and functional strategy for each solution.
• Make technical decisions considering trade-offs between execution speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Actively participate in code reviews, architecture design, and the continuous improvement of the team's engineering practices.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, actively involved in the design, development, and deployment of software products.
• Experience building high-scale B2B/B2C products or platforms used by a large volume of users or transactions.
• Experience actively contributing to feature definition and/or working closely with Product teams in agile contexts.
• Proven experience designing scalable solutions and making technical decisions that consider trade-offs between speed, maintainability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous contexts, prioritize autonomously, and turn open-ended problems into concrete solutions.
• Motivation to build AI-driven products.
• Proficiency in Spanish (intermediate/advanced or fluent), with the ability to participate in meetings and communicate clearly with the team.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (50%), with on-site presence at our São Paulo office.
• Preferred: experience developing products based on LLMs, conversational agents, or AI systems.
• Preferred: experience participating in building products from early stages (0 to 1).
• Preferred: experience conducting customer discovery sessions or participating in product discussions.
• Preferred: experience in high-growth startups or technology companies with large-scale products.
• Preferred: experience with distributed systems, APIs, cloud architectures, or high-availability platforms.
• Preferred: experience working with agile methodologies and/or multidisciplinary teams.
