Stores & Stock Controller Engineering / Manufacturing Dublin 22 Our client, a growing Irish engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke industrial machinery, is looking to recruit a Stores & Stock Controller to join their team based in Dublin 22.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with stores, stock control or purchasing experience who has an interest in engineering or manufacturing and is looking to develop their career with a successful and expanding business.

The Role: Manage the day-to-day operation of the engineering stores.

Receive parts lists and material requirements from the engineering team.

Source and order mechanical, electrical and engineering components from suppliers.

Monitor stock levels and ensure critical parts are always available.

Receive, check and accurately book in deliveries.

Organise and maintain the stores so that parts can be easily identified and located.

Issue parts to engineers as required and maintain accurate stock records.

Work closely with Engineering, Production and Purchasing to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Identify opportunities to improve stock control and stores organisation.

The Person: Previous experience in Stores, Stock Control, Purchasing or Warehouse Operations.

Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment would be a distinct advantage.

Mechanical, electrical or manufacturing knowledge would be highly desirable.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Good computer skills and experience using stock management or ERP systems would be an advantage.

A proactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers and suppliers.
